About Us

Steadfast Solace began in a season of movement, change, and quiet loneliness.

I was traveling, learning, working, growing – and still feeling ungrounded at times. Still wishing for spaces where people could be honest about what was beautiful, what was confusing, what was hard, without having to perform or pretend.

I didn’t want more motivation.

I wanted more presence.

More depth. More real connection.

So I began creating it.

Why This Space Exists

Steadfast Solace exists for people who are learning how to stay rooted within themselves while living in a world that keeps moving. For people who value freedom, growth, and meaning – and who don’t want to lose themselves in the process.

Here we focus on building inner steadiness, self-trust, and emotional resilience, not through rigid systems, but through awareness, compassion, and honest reflection.

This is a place to slow down.

To listen inward.

To connect.

What We Practice

The work here is simple, but not shallow:

Listening to the body instead of overriding it

Noticing emotional patterns with curiosity

Creating grounding without strict routines

Learning how to regulate during changes

Building trust in your own inner voice

Cultivating confidence to live and speak authentically

There are no formulas here. No pressure to “fix” yourself. No version of you that you’re supposed to become.

Just tools, reflection, and supportive space.

Who This Is For

You’ve found the right place if you’re a thoughtful, emotionally aware person who is curious about yourself and your life. If you are someone who is longing for genuine connection (not just talking about news updates and the weather), then this is for you.

Many people who find their way here are:

  • Long-term travelers and digital nomads
  • Remote workers and creatives
  • People in life transitions
  • People between chapters
  • People who want depth over hype
  • People who value community over comparison

They’re not looking for quick fixes. They’re looking for something real within themselves – and people they can grow alongside.

About Me

Hi, I’m Cat,

founder of Steadfast Solace.

I started out living a fairly traditional 9–5 life, building a career in healthcare and research. For a long time, I did what I was “supposed” to do — work hard, be responsible, and plan for stability.

And still, I felt called toward something more expansive.

So I began experimenting with remote work, travel, and building a more flexible life. I spent years moving between countries, working from different places, learning new languages, and trying to figure out how to feel grounded without a permanent home base.

Along the way, I noticed that many of the people I traveled alongside were running — from difficult emotions, old patterns, or parts of themselves they didn’t yet know how to sit with. And, honestly, I realized I was doing the same.

We stayed busy. We stayed distracted. We stayed moving.

Until I couldn’t anymore.

Through illness, burnout, and deep personal reflection, I began to slow down. I started learning about the nervous system, embodiment, and what it actually means to feel safe in your own body.

As I practiced these tools, something unexpected happened: I felt more grounded — but also more alone. Many of the spaces I once belonged to no longer fit. I was changing, and my relationships and rhythms were changing with me.

Learning how to regulate myself didn’t just help me feel calmer. It reshaped how I relate to work, travel, connection, and myself.

My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, nervous system education, and embodied coaching practices. I am certified in trauma informed care through the Centre for Healing and am currently finishing my somatic coaching certification. I prioritize ethical, consent-based, and client-centered support.

My background includes healthcare, research, and group facilitation, alongside years of personal work in emotional regulation and resilience. But more than anything, this work comes from lived experience.

Steadfast Solace — and The Embodied Traveler — grew out of this chapter of my life. They are offerings for people who want freedom without losing themselves, and depth without having to walk alone.

What Matters Here

Steadfast Solace is guided by a few simple values:

Steadfast Solace is guided by a few simple values:

  • Depth over performance
  • Presence over pressure
  • Compassion over judgement
  • Growth over comparison

I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be real.
